WHO THIS IS FOR
You own a landscape, lawn maintenance or irrigation business, and your crews do good work.
You’re busy every week, but you can’t say which jobs, clients or crews actually make money.
You price by feel, or by what the other company charges.
Quotes, crews and follow-up all run through you, and finding and keeping good workers eats your week.
You want a business that runs without you on every job.
Not a fit if you want a quick fix. We work on your real numbers and your real crews.
RULE NUMBER 1
Most owners I meet are busy and still not sure where the money goes. Before marketing, before commercial bids, we find out what every job, client and crew really earns. Then I teach you to keep track of it yourself.
Job costing from real labor, equipment, materials and overhead. No more pricing by feel.
Margin by client, route and contract, so you know what to keep, reprice or let go.
Read your P&L, track cash every week, know your break-even and what you can pay yourself.
A few KPIs per crew and per role, reviewed every week.
THE LONG WAY UP
Nineteen years in landscaping, in Florida and Texas. Every step you’re trying to take next, I had to learn by doing it, usually the hard way. That’s what I teach now.

2007
I started as a laborer and made foreman. I learned what good work takes, and how fast a good crew falls apart without a clear plan.
Just getting started?2011–2018
Supervisor, then operations manager. Payroll, scheduling, quality, the phone that never stops. I learned what happens when everything runs through one person.
Is it all running through you?2018–2022
I took over business development with no ad budget and learned how commercial buyers and HOA boards actually choose a contractor. I also started helping small companies do the same: move from residential to commercial, or grow the work they already had.
2 → about 30 commercial accounts in a single year.
Want commercial work?2023–2026
As director of operations I ran the P&L, the estimating and the sales. The company was losing about $500K a year. We fixed crew scheduling, tightened job costing and repriced the contracts that lost money.
Profitable within twelve months. Largest contract in the company’s history: $1.1M+ a year, with no paid marketing.
Want to see the whole business? Now
Now I do it full time: I sit with owners and work through the same problems on their business, in English or Spanish, until they can do it without me.
The numbers above come from jobs I held before I started consulting. They show what I’ve done, not a promise about your results.
NO GUESSWORK, NO PRESSURE
You tell me where the business is and where you want it. If I’m not the right help, I’ll say so and point you somewhere better.
We agree on the scope, pace, and fee before any paid work starts. No surprises.
We work on your real quotes, your crews, your customers. Not a generic course.
Templates, routines, and a next step you own, so the progress stays after we’re done.
A focused session, practical training, or a defined project.Built around where you are. Start with the free call.
Book the free callThat’s my focus: landscape and lawn maintenance, and irrigation. It’s where I spent nineteen years. I’ve also worked with roofing and pool service companies, so if you run a related service business, ask on the free call. The business side (sales, operations, customers, systems) carries over.
Because every other decision depends on them. If you don’t know what a job really costs, more sales can mean more losses. Once the numbers are clear, pricing, crews and commercial work get easier.
Yes. We can begin with your service offer, ideal customer, brand message, basic sales habits, and simple systems for quotes and customer records. You do not need an existing commercial bid to start a conversation.
We can work through commercial buyer expectations, finding opportunities, prospecting, proposals, and preparing your operation to deliver the work. Recurring maintenance accounts and construction opportunities that use plans follow different paths; we focus on the one that fits your business.
We can scope practical training in plan reading, takeoffs, organizing an estimate, and finding or tracking opportunities through tools such as PlanSwift and PlanHub. You practice the workflow so you can repeat it. Your software subscriptions are separate; this is independent instruction, not vendor certification.
A complete picture of your business: sales, operations, customers, numbers, and your team. We write down the duties each role is responsible for and set KPIs for every role from them, so you can measure each person fairly against what the job actually asks. We can work through it together in sessions, or I can put it together for you for a set fee. For that I’ll need each employee’s CV and your company’s duties for each role.
No. We start with the workflow you need to improve and look at what you already use. A spreadsheet, your current CRM, or a different tool may be the right fit. Features, team adoption, integrations, and cost all matter.
The first call is free and takes 15 minutes. After that, we agree on a focused session, training plan, or defined project, including the scope and fee, before any paid work starts.
Because I’m not new to the work. I spent nineteen years doing the jobs I now teach: on the crew, running operations, selling commercial accounts, and running a P&L. What I bring is what worked, and what didn’t, in businesses like yours. The first call is free, so you can judge for yourself.
Sí. Las sesiones están disponibles en español o inglés. Podemos trabajar en cómo iniciar su negocio, organizarlo y dar el siguiente paso hacia clientes comerciales.
